JACK BANKS
I'm an Italian photographer, filmmaker and digital photo retoucher, working with lifestyle, culture and fashion.
Documentary photography and video is how I started telling stories, my first projects depict the Italian prison system.
Following a degree in photography and visual arts at LABA, University of Arts, Florence, I moved to London where in addition to freelancing, I told the story about the Jewish community of Stamford Hill.
Then, I moved to Copenhagen where I became the assistant of the Magnum photographer Jacob Aue Sobol. On the island of Lolland we built one of the first fishing and photography centers in the world: Brothas Center.

Being a photographer allows me to get intimate with the different realities I work with.
I'm currently based in Florence, Italy

Clients include: Gucci, Swarovski, Loro Piana, Bitossi home, Pellicano Hotels, Micoli among others.
